¿Qué es un calendario solunar?
Un calendario solunar enumera los periodos mayores y menores de actividad de cada día, derivados de la posición de la luna respecto a tu ubicación, junto con el amanecer, el atardecer y la fase lunar. Los periodos mayores duran unas dos horas y caen cuando la luna está sobre la cabeza o bajo los pies; los menores duran alrededor de una hora y coinciden con la salida y la puesta de la luna. Los pescadores lo usan para elegir qué horas de un día, y qué días de una semana, tienen más probabilidades de dar buena actividad.
¿Cuál es la mejor hora para pescar?
Para la mayoría de las especies costeras la respuesta fiable es agua en movimiento cerca del amanecer o del atardecer. Un periodo mayor solunar que cae sobre una marea entrante o saliente, a una hora o dos del amanecer o el atardecer, combina las tres señales en las que más confían los pescadores. ¿Funcionan de verdad los horarios solunares?
Toma los periodos solunares como una guía de planificación, no como una ley. Muchos pescadores encuentran productivos los periodos mayores del amanecer y el atardecer, pero el movimiento de la marea, la temperatura del agua, el viento y la presión barométrica importan igual o más. Usa el calendario para acotar qué días y horas merecen tu tiempo, y deja que la marea y las condiciones elijan la hora exacta.
¿Cómo se calcula la valoración diaria de actividad?
Es una puntuación de 0 a 4 que pesa la fase lunar, que alcanza su máximo en luna nueva y llena, junto con lo bien que los periodos de actividad del día coinciden con el amanecer y el atardecer. Una valoración más alta significa que más condiciones clásicas se alinean a la vez. Es una heurística honesta, no una predicción de capturas.
